VIDEO : THE NEW CURRENCY

Bodhi Talk - Divine Oneness

What will it take for the world to unite in harmony and bring an end to wars, world-hunger, homelessness, and poverty?

That is a question that has been asked throughout time... and with no real answer. No one seems to put much priority on solving these issues anytime soon. Politics has failed. Religion has failed. What is left?

In this Bodhi Talk, I discuss 'compassion' as one possible answer. Watch the video above, or read the transcript below. Then leave a comment and tell me what you think. I would love to hear your thoughts...

Transcript -

"When compassion becomes our currency, we will solve all the hunger, homelessness, and the like. Wars will end and resources will be devoted to creating a better way of life for everyone… not this hording process that humanity is currently engaged in.

What will it take for that to happen?

It will take the realization and TRUE understanding – by each of us – that we are not separate. We are not individuals. Our physical bodies are not borders. While we each have a meat-puppet-tool to use, we are all one consciousness, separated only by ego and beliefs to the contrary.

When we understand that we are One with each other – and one with the divine stream of consciousness – we will not be able to turn our backs on one another. We will understand that turning our backs on others is denying a part of ourselves. Apathy will end. We will extend our hands to each other out of compassion and kindness, knowing that we are contributing to the elevation of the one universal consciousness… This is the realization of Divine Oneness

But until this realization happens, we will continue to see ourselves as separate – divided by bullshit political borders, bastardized religions, and the selfishness of the Ego."

I hope this idea of 'Compassion as the New Currency' resonates with you. If so, please join me in showing compassion to all those in need. Join me in relieving humanity of suffering as we usher in a new age of consciousness.

5 SIGNS OF SPIRITUAL ARROGANCE

Humility is a Virtue If you are a follower of any 'Spiritual" groups on Facebook or other social media outlet, you might have run into people who are - for lack of a better term - spiritually arrogant. You can see it when people talk about how " awakened " or " enlightened " they are. Particularly in reference to another person or differing belief. You know what I'm talking about... phrases such as "Before my awakening", or "people still caught in the matrix", or "When he awakens he will understand".  In any field, whether it’s sports, the arts, profession, or spiritual growth, there are always going to be some people that are farther along in their development than others... but that's not the point. More so, it is what happens to people once they begin to expand into levels of awareness they've never felt before. How does this happen? We live in a society where “trash-talking” athletes and eg

THE PAINFUL TRUTH OF SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

The Dark Side of Awakening As humans, whether we like it or not, we are in a constant state of spiritual awakening. We are constantly growing, learning, and nourishing our inner-being by continuing to have life-experiences. Even when we seem to be in a spiritual retrograde - or suffer from spiritual fatigue - we are on a path of awakening. Even when we've felt a previous awakening within ourselves, the journey continues. We travel from one awakening to the next - each revealing new secrets about who we are and why we are here. Sometimes, we even return to a previous awakening. There, we learn pieces of the lessons we didn't learn the first time through. And with each awakening, we grow closer to the convergence of our mind, body, and spirit in what is sure to be the ultimate state of being. The Painful Truth Many people think of the terms "Spiritual Awakening" and "Enlightenment" and have a mental image of the sun breaking through the clouds
